Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a dedicated team member to assist the Outlet Manager in planning and managing the Restaurant, Room Service and other F&B outlets. You will help ensure customer satisfaction, quality service, and compliance with policies while helping the team meet financial goals.

The role emphasizes supervising servers, maintaining standards, and communicating effectively with management to coordinate events, training, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using a POS system.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle carts up to 150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards.
• Supervise service of guests and respond to guests' needs.
• Assist restaurant manager in tasks including sidework and training.
• Maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Read daily shift sheets and prepare for the next shift.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness, setup, and proper service areas.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations and corporate policies.
• Communicate with the restaurant manager about events and counts.
• Assist with menu classes and tastings; give clear directions to staff.
• Attend to attendance rules and be available on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

NoOverviewAssist the Outlet Manager in the planning and management of the Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor servers and busperson adherence to all service standards.Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.Assist manager to establish and monitor sidework duty completion.Maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check floor plan for appropriate coverage.Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas.
