Job summary

Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations of outlets and services, ensuring quality, guest satisfaction, and adherence to brand standards. You will coach and schedule staff, monitor service quality, manage inventory, and ensure safety compliance.

This role requires leadership, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach during peak times.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or banquet setting.
• Knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls.
• Experience with Micro’s point of sale system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with brand standards.
• Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction across F&B outlets and ensure consistency with guest specifications.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are adhered to for guests and associates.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on service and food quality.
• Assist during high-volume periods or staffing shortages as needed.
• Maintain proper par levels and inventories of F&B supplies.
• Ensure staff comply with laws regarding serving alcohol and safety protocols.
• Report malfunctions and ensure repairs on equipment are addressed.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety guidelines in daily work.
