The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant, bar, banquet, or dining operations to ensure excellent customer service, high-quality food and beverage standards, and efficient team performance. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, handling customer concerns, and supporting operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

• Supervise daily food and beverage service operations.
• Ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Staff Supervision:

• Lead, train, and motivate service staff.
• Prepare work schedules and allocate duties.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching.
• Conduct briefings before shifts and communicate operational updates.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.

Customer Service:

• Welcome guests and ensure exceptional service experiences.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Gather guest feedback and implement service improvements.
• Maintain positive guest relationships and encourage repeat business.

Inventory & Cost Control:

• Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering processes.
• Minimize waste and control operating costs.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products.

Sales & Financial Responsibilities:

• Support sales targets and promotional activities.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and POS transactions.
• Assist in preparing daily sales and operational reports.
• Help achieve departmental revenue and profitability goals.
