Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III - Technical Directive Manager to lead TD compliance for F/A-18E/F platforms at NAS Oceana. The role ensures airworthiness, configuration accountability, and data integrity across TDs and maintenance records.

The candidate will coordinate with CFT, QA, squadron maintenance, and FST while ensuring strict adherence to NAMP, TCP, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

DoD Secret security clearance required.
6–8+ years in military aviation maintenance administration or quality inspection.
3+ years on Navy/Marine Corps F/A-18E/F or EA-18G Growler platforms.
Background screening required for flight line access.
Proficiency with OOMA/NALCOMIS, DECKPLATE, JEDMICS, NALDA and JMPS.

Responsibilities

Identify and log all NAVAIR TDs, ISRATDs, Bulletins, and Formal Changes for F/A-18E/F.
Manage documentation across OOMA and NALCOMIS; review baselines and deferrals.
Maintain traceability of aircraft serials, mods, and avionics upgrades; perform audits.
Coordinate with defense supply chains to track TD kits and components.
Interface with CFT, QA, maintenance control, and FST to resolve discrepancies.
Produce readiness metrics and airframe histories for leadership.
Enforce NAMP, TCP, and DCMA safety protocol compliance.
