Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified F/A-18 Electrical Maintenance Technician in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance experience, specifically with F-18 ejection seats, and hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include maintaining various aircraft systems and performing essential inspections. The position offers a contract basis with a pay range of $35.89 to $47.08 per hour, with additional benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aviation maintenance experience in egress, survival equipment, and/or related aircraft systems.
• Experience installing/removing F-18 ejection seats.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks in confined spaces or elevated positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft seats and canopy ejection systems.
• Remove and install oxygen system valves and gauges.
• Perform daily and pre- and post-flight inspections.
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
