F-16 Avionics or Electrical / Environmental Technician III - 18473
For the 1st 6 months, the standard work schedule will be 1:00 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Thursday. Actual schedule may vary from time to time, depending on the needs at this site. This can impact days worked and hours worked. After 6 months, this position is expected to transition to a 1st shift 4x10 schedule.
Responsible for depot‑level modification, upgrade, and test of aircraft sub‑systems, ensuring airworthiness. Duties include, but are not limited to, inspecting, testing, modifying, and repairing avionic as well as other electrical systems/sub‑systems. Examples include radar, radio, navigation, and aircraft power systems/sub‑systems.
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
