Aether Aerospaceis seeking a skilled F‑16 Aircraft Structures Technician to join the maintenance team at Eglin AFB, FL. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and test avionics-related structures on F‑16 aircraft.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of USAF Aircraft Structural Maintenance (3-level) training or equivalent civilian experience.
• FAA Airframe License or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years of experience performing structural maintenance on F-16 aircraft.
• Experience with depot-level or modification programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair F-16 airframe structures including fuselage and wings.
• Fabricate and install structural parts using sheet metal and composites.
• Interpret and apply technical orders, drawings, and manuals.
• Perform structural modifications and depot-level repairs when authorized.
• Use precision tools such as rivet guns, brake presses, drills, sanders, and curing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CIS and related systems.
• Coordinate with crew chiefs and avionics/propulsion teams.
• Mentor junior technicians as needed.
