Job summary

S & K Technologies, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Mechanic II Avionics Electrician to support F-15E avionics, electrical wiring, fiber optics, and installation tasks at Goldsboro, NC. The role requires knowledge of avionics/test equipment, and the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and documentation.

This full-time position is contingent on contract award. The candidate will work within a mission-critical environment, adhering to safety, security, and quality requirements while supporting TDY

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of aircraft electrical/avionics systems and test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot moderate-to-complex avionics/electrical issues.
• Must read and apply technical orders, drawings and data.
• Maintain required maintenance documentation and comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform avionics/electrical modification, installation and inspection.
• Carry out fiber optic cable installation, cleaning and testing.
• Do wiring/harness work and equipment installation with checks.
• Interpret technical data and perform functional checkouts.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Lead complex tasks or act as off-shift Lead when designated.
• Support TDY operations and other task-order duties as assigned.
• Travel TDY and overseas travel as required.
