Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking an EZGO Field Service Technician in South Bend, Indiana to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric and gasoline golf cars and related equipment in the field.

You will perform deliveries and setups, document work orders, and maintain company vehicles and tools while adhering to safety policies and DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years mechanical experience; prior golf cars service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; comply with TSV policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and gasoline golf cars, industrial and turf vehicles in the field.
• Perform product deliveries, retrievals, and set-ups to maintain service continuity.
• Produce accurate work orders, parts orders, delivery reports, timesheets, and paperwork as required.
• Communicate sales leads and customer feedback to service manager, technical representative or designated sales professional.
• Manage and maintain all assigned company equipment, inventory, and tools.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle/trailer in cleanliness and through preventative maintenance/inspections.
• Comply with state and local laws while operating company vehicle.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures of electrical and gasoline golf cars, industrial vehicles, and turf vehicles in the field.

• Perform product deliveries, retrievals, and set‑ups to provide continuity of service and maintenance of accounts.

• Produce accurate, reliable, and timely information for all necessary work orders, parts orders, delivery reports, timesheets, and other paperwork as required.

• Communicate sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate parties including the service manager, technical representative or designated sales professional.

• Manage and maintain all assigned company equipment, inventory, and tools.

• Maintain assigned company vehicle and/or trailer in the areas of cleanliness, preventative maintenance and inspections.

• Comply with all state and local laws while operating company vehicle.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, technical certification/diploma preferred

• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of mechanical experience, previous experience servicing golf cars preferred

• Must possess a valid drives license and must comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies
