Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet all Lab Certification requirements.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Able to recruit, train and supervise lab staff.
• Occasional travel not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct lab operations to ensure eyewear is accurate to prescription.
• Recruit, select and train lab associates on equipment and certification techniques.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; manage lens inventory and budget.
• Coordinate with store goals; monitor work orders and performance.
• Control inventory shrinkage and schedule staff per payroll guidelines.
• Conduct performance appraisals and coaching as needed.
• Adhere to safety, HIPAA, and company policies.
• May supervise store operations in the absence of store leadership.
