Job summary

MyEyeDr in Delaware Georgetown is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to deliver a best-in-class patient experience. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, explain insurance benefits, and complete fittings with training provided.

Join a supportive team with office-wide goals and a commitment to quality care. Weekend and evening shifts are required, and you will collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure a seamless visit for every patient.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position preferred but not required.
• Willing to learn about industry, product and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by using knowledge of product lines and options
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience built on relationship and trust
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from wide selection
• Complete optometric tasks in partnership with Office Optometrist to best serve patient and selected lenses/frames
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy while working with patients
• Participate in other office duties as assigned
