Job summary

Kovach Eye Institute in Lincolnwood, IL is seeking a friendly Technician to prepare patients and rooms for eye examinations, perform preliminary testing, and assist doctors.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform preliminary tests and assist doctors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort working in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by explaining procedures and benefits.
• Perform all preliminary tests and any doctor-requested tests.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow, communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room, clean instruments, and maintain supplies.
• Provide a clean, safe, and inviting environment for patients and staff.
• Contribute to additional duties as directed by manager or doctors.
