The representative will greet patients, verify insurance, manage appointments, handle check-in/out, and maintain accurate records in a medical environment that emphasizes compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and can establish confidence and trust with patients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with NextGen, Microsoft, or Clearwave is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the clinic.
• Verify insurance and collect accurate demographic data.
• Manage appointment schedules and reminders.
• Handle patient check-in/out and record-keeping accurately.
• Calculate and collect copays, deductibles, balances.
• Return to appointment scheduling and patient communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain reception area and organize materials.
• Answer calls with professional etiquette.
• Assist multiple locations if required.
• Travel between locations to support front office operations.
• Support staff and doctors with courteous service.
