Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a dedicated team member in the United States for a full-time role. The position offers a base pay of $23.00 per hour for the 2nd shift, running from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include diagnosing extrusion problems and collaborating with teams to improve processes.

Ideal candidates will have experience in profile extrusion, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly. Full benefits are provided starting from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience with profile extrusion preferred.
• Strong prioritization and multi-tasking capability.
• Strong aptitude in problem-solving and process improvement.
• Basic computer skills – Windows, MS Access, MS Excel.
• Equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to articulate problems and solutions verbally.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and process procedures.
• Ability and skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing stressful situations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations and determine if issues are machine or process-related.
• Work on non-conforming processes to meet specifications.
• Diagnose complex extrusion problems and take corrective action.
• Collaborate with supervisor and engineering to resolve issues.
• Assist with production qualification runs.
