Job summary

Pregis in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to monitor extrusion machinery, ensuring safety, quality and throughput. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in manufacturing; SAP/ERP familiarity is a plus.

You will work with the Extrusion team in a fast-paced environment, handling setup, data entry, and continuous improvement tasks. Responsibilities include operating rewinders, maintaining housekeeping, and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
• Prior SAP or similar ERP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of assigned machine(s) to ensure safety, quality, and throughput.
• Follow safety programs and PPE requirements and maintain orderly work areas.
• Enter production data into the machine computer and report defects promptly.
• Set up and adjust equipment as needed; assist and troubleshoot with Set-up Technicians.
