Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Production Associate - Extrusion to support the vinyl extrusion process, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced plant environment. You will help assemble, label, and ship finished goods while partnering with team members to meet production targets.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent and can read a tape measure. Cross-training across multiple lines and reliable attendance are encouraged for growth within AMI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Be dependable and on-time with attendance.
• Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training in other plant areas.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work well with others on the team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and tools used in the vinyl extrusion process.
• Use material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Inspect extruded product and equipment; communicate quality or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; perform housekeeping.
• Follow and uphold all safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties including cross-training across multiple positions and production lines.
