Job summary

Winland Foods in Excelsior Springs, MO is seeking an Extrusion Press Operator. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation; training hours 6:00am–6:30pm, full shifts nights 6:00pm–6:30am.

You will operate and maintain extrusion equipment to meet quality and food safety standards while supporting a collaborative team. You need a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willing to obtain certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain processing machinery and equipment.
• Monitor product flow and ensure batches meet quality and food safety standards.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep processing flowing.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and packaging; follow FIFO inventory; record shipments in SAP.
• Complete basic production paperwork and report issues to supervisors.
