Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prints packing order from computer and ensures packing materials are available.
• Move aluminum extrusions up to 27’ long and weighing 10–100 pounds with coworker help.
• Cuts wood for packing or banding.
• Hand packs bundles per customer specifications with assistance for long extrusions.
• Maintains IDs for racks and bundles in process.
• Loads metal onto conveyor and runs through the auto wrapper.
• Visually inspects ends, length and material for accuracy and quality.
• Records packed items on the Process Traveler and ensures proper labeling.
