Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator for the Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) with a 3-1-3 rotation; initial 90-day training on Day Shift. You will set up and run bulk roll film extrusion equipment to deliver high-quality products.

You will monitor process variables, perform routine tests, and maintain logs, while upholding safety and teamwork across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
• Willingness to work night shift and overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety and open communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material handling equipment per SOPs.
• Monitor gauges, temperatures, pressures and inspect product dimensions with calibrated tools.
• Identify equipment issues, analyze root causes, and propose improvements to reduce waste.
• Load raw materials, manage machine controls, and maintain production logs.
• Support site safety standards and collaborate across teams to meet goals.

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to drive high-performance results? Join Avery Dennison as an Extrusion Machine Operator! In this key role, you will take ownership of setting up, operating, and troubleshooting bulk roll film extrusion equipment to deliver top-quality products

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material handling machinery per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Quality & Precision Control: Monitor gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures. Conduct routine tests and inspect product dimensions using calibrated measuring tools.

Process Optimization: Identify equipment abnormalities, analyze root causes, and suggest continuous improvements to reduce waste and rework.

Material & Records Management: Load raw materials, manage machine controls, unload finished goods, and maintain accurate production logs.

Teamwork & Safety: Actively support site safety standards and collaborate across teams to achieve shared production goals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.

Proven ability to read precision measuring tools accurately.

Adaptability to handle shifting production priorities and short-notice overtime.

Commitment to safety, open communication, and eagerness to cross-train.
