Job summary

Airtech Advanced Materials Group in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to run extrusion equipment and produce high-quality materials for our customers. This hands-on role sets up machines, monitors production, checks product quality, makes adjustments, and labels and packs finished product.

Candidates should have prior machine operating experience, be comfortable in a hot environment, and able to wear a respirator when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with extrusion, plastics, film, coating, laminating, or converting equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work in a hot production environment and wear a respirator when required.
• Ability to set up, monitor, and adjust production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to identify defects and quality issues.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand, move, lift up to 70 lbs., and support production needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment according to production orders.
• Check equipment controls and safety features before starting production.
• Monitor the machine to ensure product runs correctly.
• Observe for defects or quality issues and make adjustments.
• Label, package, and pack finished product per work order.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Wear a respirator when required and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
