Job summary

Micropore, Inc. in Elkton, MD is seeking manufacturing personnel for day-shift extrusion and extraction operations. Training will be provided. The role requires operating equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining records.

We offer benefits after initial employment and opportunities for overtime. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with full-time hours and a structured two-week pay period.

Qualifications

• Be mechanically inclined and able to use gauges and measurement instruments for quality inspection.
• Able to read, write and comprehend simple work instructions and procedures.
• Exhibits strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Capable of shift work, overtime, and occasional weekends.
• Demonstrates professional conduct and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and extraction equipment independently.
• Check tolerances and perform inline QC of parts.
• Maintain clear records and report progress daily.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and escalate to Supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Support ISO 9001 in-house training tasks.
• Participate in production, safety and company meetings.
• Keep work area clean and organized, and work with minimal supervision.
