Marmon Aerospace & Defense LLC in Manchester, NH is seeking a Machine Operator to support extrusion production on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up machines, adjust settings, feed materials, inspect parts, and maintain records with precision.

2nd ShiftExtrusion Operator(M-F 4pm-12:00am)

_ Includes a 4% shift differential on top of base pay. _

3rd ShiftExtrusion Operator(M-F 12:00am-8:00am)

_ Includes a 6% shift differential on top of base pay. _

Previous wire or plastics extrusion or wire and cable experience highly preferred.

Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintain activity logs

Skills/Experience

• 1+ years of extrusion experience
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Previous manufacturing environment required
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength, ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English, including verbal and written communication and comprehension.
