Job summary

ASI Storage in Georgia is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up and run machines that draw thermoplastic materials into sheets. The role requires a 12-hour shift and the ability to work every other weekend.

You will inspect products, perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, monitor the line for defects, and complete hourly check sheets while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to draw thermoplastic sheets.
• Measure and examine extruded products to locate defects and ensure conformance.
• Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy on the line.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment.
• Monitor line for defects in material and take corrective actions.
• Take periodic inspection measurements and complete hourly check sheets.
• Operate forklift, panel saw, vacuum lift and related devices.
• Clean lines and work areas; pull dust bags as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Tasks

• Measure and examine extruded products in order to locate defects, and to check for conformance to specifications.
• Perform quality checks and accuracy of the product on the line.
• Trouble shoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment.
• Monitor line for problems or defects in material.
• Measure and record results on appropriate documents in a timely manner.
• Take periodic inspection measurements as required.
• Complete and sign off on hourly check sheet.
• Requires operation of forklift, panel saw, vacuum lift, and other devices related to process.
• Clean lines and work areas including pulling dust bags.
• Any other duties as asked by supervisor.
