Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is seeking an extrusion operator for a night shift. You will inspect extruded products for consistency, manage counts and labels, and operate packaging equipment during a 6 PM–6:30 AM rotating schedule.

Qualifications include reading a tape measure to 16th of an inch, basic math, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

JOB DETAILS

Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 + $1.50 shift differential

Night Shift: 6PM - 6:30AM Rotating shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.


• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels


• Associate maintains paperwork as required


• Performs online quality inspections


• Operates packaging equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to read a tape measure


• Related machine operation experience


• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift


• Basic Math skills


• Ability to read English and quality test product


• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch


• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work independent and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check


• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $20.50 per hour to $21.50 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
