Pregis in Sussex, WI is hiring an Extrusion Assistant Operator. You’ll support blown film lines, help with setup and roll changes, and learn to operate the extrusion line as you grow.

You’ll perform quality checks, manage materials, label inventory, and follow GMP and safety rules. This role offers day and night shifts on 12-hour schedules with strong learning opportunities and room to advance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist extrusion lines to meet production and quality goals.
• Support setup, startups, and roll changes.
• Learn to independently operate an extrusion line.
• Operate core cutting and palletizing equipment.
• Perform visual and measurement quality inspections.
• Maintain raw materials and supplies.
• Label finished rolls and inventory.
• Complete production documentation and reporting accurately.
• Follow GMP and inventory procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Attend required safety meetings.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to boost efficiency.
• Report equipment, material or quality concerns promptly.
• Develop skills to advance in manufacturing.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
