As a Extruder Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
Meet production goals daily. Change screens on the hour, every hour. Catch material from the screen changer, diverter and vent & recycle. Skim water holding tanks hourly. Keep extruder vent clear at all times. Fill out all paperwork. Help in the feeder as needed to keep extruder running full. Use best box and skid to package pellets. Clean Gaylord liner. Weigh boxes of finished material. Fill out PRT labels. Put finished material away. Re-run overflow material coming from feed hopper. Keep area clean.
The Extruder Operator supports manufacturing by operating production equipment according to established procedures and quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.
