Stanislaus County is seeking a Site Supervisor for Senior Meals to coordinate daily activities at a congregate meal site, manage volunteers, and ensure meals meet serving requirements. The Aging and Veterans Services Department is looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food service, with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. This role requires someone who takes initiative and demonstrates excellent people skills to attract and engage volunteers in meal service activities. Additionally, supervisory experience is preferred to provide guidance and support to our team.

The Site Supervisor for Senior Meals coordinates activities at a Senior Meal Congregate Site including opening and setting up the site, planning and organizing activities, ensuring food meets serving requirements, serving and cleaning up meals, and closing site. The Site Supervisor for Senior Meals signs up new participants and obtains demographic information from visitors, explains program responsibilities; obtains meal counts and orders future meals, documents food arrival and temperature. The Site Supervisor for Senior Meals works with and manages volunteers.

Incumbents may also be subject to overtime, standby, callback, weekend, holiday and shift assignments as identified in their MOU (Memorandum of Understanding).
Part-time extra help is a provisional classification where permanent status may not be obtained. This position is subject to overtime, standby, shift, and callback assignments and will perform related duties as assigned. This position is non-benefited except for participation in a 401a program with Nationwide.
