Extivita in Durham, NC seeks a Hyperbaric Technician who combines technical precision with compassion and patient safety. This role supports multiplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy, managing chamber pressure, oxygen delivery, timing, and clear communication with the team.

The Hyperbaric Technician supports safe, coordinated, and effective multiplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy by stewarding pressure, oxygen, timing, communication, and safety for patients and team members.
As assigned and trained, the Hyperbaric Technician may serve in either the Inside Chamber Tender or Chamber Console Operator function during treatments. Working with another qualified team member, the technician helps provide end-to-end oversight of treatment delivery while maintaining clear role assignment, communication, and safety accountability for each dive.
This role requires technical discipline, situational awareness, calm decision-making, and clear communication, particularly under pressure.
