Job summary

Hales Corners Veterinary Clinic in Wisconsin invites the Class of 2027 DVM students to join our externship track, which is designed as a stepping stone toward a future full-time role. This externship offers a $1,000/week stipend and hands-on experience with clinical and surgical cases in a supportive team.

You will gain mentorship, real patient care exposure, and the chance to evaluate a long-term fit with our AAHA-accredited practice located just outside Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program graduating in 2027.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Gain broad clinical experience with mentorship and supervision.
• Observe and participate in medical and surgical procedures and diagnostic processes.
• Engage in client communication when appropriate.
• Develop hand-on abilities in a supportive environment.
• Assess cases and contribute to high standards of patient care.
