Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an External Sanitation (Third Shift) to join our team in North Carolina. You will ensure a clean, sanitary production environment in compliance with federal, state, and PCNA guidelines.

Day-to-day duties include externally cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, cleaning non-processing equipment, maintaining sanitation logs, and performing other duties as assigned. Prior production or janitorial experience is preferred, and forklift certification may be

Qualifications

• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• Attention to detail and safety prioritized.
• Must be able to follow written procedures.
• Able to read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions.
• Must enjoy working off-shifts and in a wet environment.

External Sanitation Role Overview

Assures that products are manufactured in a clean and sanitary environment that complies with federal, state, and PCNA guidelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Externally cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
• Cleans non-processing equipment.
• Maintains sanitation logs and reports to document plant and equipment cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year production or janitorial experience preferred.
• Chemical safety and Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification.
• Must be able to follow written procedures.
• Able to read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions.
• Must enjoy working off-shifts and in a wet environment.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
