Job summary

Convention of States is seeking an External Relations Marketing Assistant to support donor data management and communications. The role focuses on leveraging Salesforce to generate data reports, coordinate donor outreach, and execute targeted email campaigns for fundraising and engagement.

The position is part-time and reports to the Senior Vice President of External Relations. The successful candidate will work with the Development team to ensure timely, accurate donor communications and

Qualifications

• Pulls requested reports for email campaigns and loads campaigns and email templates.
• Prepares and sends mass emails to donors and/or prospects.
• Prepares portfolio reports as requested by development officers.
• Unsubscribes contacts who wish to be removed from the email or mailing list.
• Reviews list of bounced or undelivered emails and researches correct replacement emails.
