Job summary

Visitlive is seeking a Bar Porter in Virginia to support bar operations and guest service. The role involves stocking bar items, handling ice, and stepping in for bartenders during breaks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent work ethic and the ability to read basic instructions are essential. Licensure per Virginia Gaming Control Board or Live standards may be required and physical endurance is needed for long shifts in a dynamic casino setting.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: minimum of six months in food and beverage.
• Must be able to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or Live’s operating standards.
• Physical: stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; push/pull heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar items daily.
• Fill ice bins as needed.
• Fill in as bartender during breaks.
• Replace bottles on Easy System, including juices and beer kegs.
• Empty garbage and clean up spills.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Stock bar items daily.
• Fill ice bins as needed.
• Assume duties of bartender and cocktail waitress during breaks.
• Replace bottles on Easy System, replacing juices and beer kegs.
• Empty garbage and clean up spills.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience: Minimum of six (6) months experience in the food and beverage field.

• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to:
• Stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning
• Handle multi-tasking heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds frequently
• Lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms,
• Work under variable temperatures and noise levels
• Use near vision, see details at close range
