Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Software Developer Technical Lead to guide a team delivering mission-critical software for NORAD/NCMC programs. You will define architecture, lead full life-cycle development, and ensure security and scalability across ground systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking incumbent and external qualified candidates to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyene Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III (NISSC III).

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by summer 2026

Qualified candidates will help operate, maintain, and sustain critical national mission systems to deliver resilient strategic threat warning and space capabilities as part of a world-wide architecture, providing strategic warning that our nation depends on during a conflict. The Software Developer Technical Lead will serve as the senior technical authority for software development activities supporting. This individual will guide the engineering team in designing, developing, integrating, and delivering mission critical software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead software development activities across the full life-cycle, including architecture, design, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
