Peraton is seeking an RF Engineering Analyst in Fort Belvoir to support national security missions. You will conduct analyses to protect high-value assets from RF threats and enhance mission efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in flight safety and RF operations, along with strong communication skills and a TS/SCI clearance. The role demands collaboration across various teams while ensuring mission readiness and successful operations.
The target salary range for this position is $104,000 - $166,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
As an RF Engineering Analyst supporting a critical national security space warfighting mission, you will play a key role in protecting mission success through advanced orbital data validation, flight safety analysis, and directed energy (RF) deconfliction. You will assess and mitigate terrestrial and space-based RF threats to ensure the protection of high-value assets and uninterrupted mission execution.
As a member of the Flight Safety Engineering Team, you will provide operators, planners, and decision-makers with timely warning of potential radio frequency interference (RFI) and other mission-impacting hazards. You will develop and maintain operational deconfliction products, enhance analytical processes, and create procedures and checklists that improve operational efficiency while integrating emerging capabilities and technologies.
The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem solver who can develop innovative solutions, support training and exercises, collaborate across organizations, and effectively communicate complex technical information to leadership and mission partners.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
