Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Lawrence, KS is hiring a Landscape Operator / Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator to oversee landscape projects and maintain grounds year-round.

You will work with a dedicated team to perform mowing, trimming, pruning, and exterior upkeep in a fast-paced store environment. Ideal candidates are at least 21, hold a valid driver's license, can read and communicate in English, and can complete a DOT physical for medical certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to complete a DOT physical and obtain medical certification.
• Preferred: DOT MEC certification and related engineering/maintenance education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grounds maintenance in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with associates to manage landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Follow safety, security, and integrity protocols per corporate policies and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.
