Job summary

Walmart is hiring Landscape Technicians to maintain and beautify outdoor spaces year round. You will mow, trim, prune shrubs and trees, and ensure the grounds around parking lots and buildings are clean and well kept.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years' experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree or similar certification in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related field; Certified Facilities Manager (CFM); Project Management Professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping tasks year round, including mowing, trimming, and pruning.
• Perform grounds maintenance on parking areas, exterior buildings, and surrounding grounds.
• Be part of a team responsible for all aspects of landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, security, and integrity standards and comply with corporate, local, state, and federal requirements.

Walmart is hiring Landscape Technicians! You will make an impact as a year - round Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different types of weather and enjoy physical labor.

• Landscaping! Which will include mowing, trimming, and pruning year round
• Perform grounds maintenance on the parking lot, exterior building, and surrounding ground areas to provide a clean environment
• Be part of a team of associates responsible for all aspects of the landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance
• Adhere to the highest standards of safety, security, and integrity ensuring compliance with corporate policies as well as local, federal, and state requirements

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
