Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services for exterior maintenance at the Hope Mills, NC site. You will manage exterior projects, coordinate third-party providers, and ensure safety and environmental compliance while maintaining cost efficiency.

The role involves budgeting, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with facility users to address concerns and uphold high quality standards in exterior environments aligned with Walmart’s goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in landscaping/gardening
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Experience managing facility services and coordinating third-party providers
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards (OSHA/EPA)
• Experience operating heavy machinery and vehicles

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and purchases for parts and equipment
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance (snow/ice, landscaping, cart service)
• Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment; inspect and schedule maintenance
• Troubleshoot facility issues, provide technical assistance, and communicate with facility users
• Ensure OSHA/EPA and Walmart safety policies compliance while optimizing efficiency and cost control
• Lead third-party providers and maintain documentation and reporting
