Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT in Natchitoches, LA to maintain exterior facility operations. Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, seasonal maintenance, and coordinating third-party providers to uphold safety and efficiency.

Applicants should have OSHA/EPA knowledge, 2+ years in exterior facility services, budgeting capabilities, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No DUI/DWI, OUI, or reckless driving within the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years (commercial).
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre-hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety standards.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet safety requirements.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation.
• Coordinate purchases, cost estimates, and budget preparation for parts and supplies.
• Lead and develop third-party providers and evaluate performance.
• Communicate effectively with facility users to address service needs and complaints.
