Tampa Bay Droneworx is hiring an Exterior Cleaning Technician for a full-time, on-site role in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. You will assist with drone-supported soft washing and pressure washing on commercial exteriors, including building facades, windows, and solar panels.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, solution prep, and safely coordinating with FAA‑licensed pilots. Ideal candidates have experience in exterior cleaning, strong safety focus, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with exterior cleaning methods such as soft washing, pressure washing, and general building maintenance.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical or technical equipment operation, including pumps, hoses, and power washing tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, use PPE, and work at heights or around elevated structures.
• Good attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to delivering high‑quality, environmentally responsible service.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a small field-based team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
• Experience in exterior cleaning, construction, facilities maintenance, or related field preferred but not required.
• Interest in learning about drone-assisted cleaning technologies; FAA Part 107 certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Role Description

The Exterior Cleaning Technician is a full-time, on‑site role based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. This role is responsible for assisting with drone‑supported soft washing and pressure washing services on commercial exteriors, including building facades, windows, solar panels, and other elevated or hard‑to‑reach surfaces. Day‑to‑day tasks include setting up and maintaining equipment, preparing cleaning solutions, supporting drone operations in coordination with FAA‑licensed pilots, and performing ground‑level cleaning and post‑service inspections. The technician will follow safety protocols, help secure work areas, communicate with team members and site contacts, and ensure each project is completed efficiently and to quality standards. This position may also support field testing and implementation of new drone‑based cleaning and concrete sealing processes.
