Job summary

Landscape East & West is seeking a skilled exterior carpenter to join our landscape construction team in Oregon. You will coordinate installations of fences, gates, pergolas, decks, and related structures, reading blueprints to ensure accurate layouts and safety standards on site.

Requirements include 4+ years of exterior carpentry experience and a valid driver’s license. Technical carpentry training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of exterior carpentry experience.
• Possess a valid, insurable driver's license.
• Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work collaboratively.
• Technical training in carpentry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the installation of exterior carpentry projects (fences, gates, pergolas, attached & detached structures, trellises, decks, planters boxes).
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to understand specifications and layout.
• Assemble structural components including framing, railings, stairs, and decking surfaces.
• Follow all company safety procedures, support crew compliance with standards.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete equipment & vehicle inspections.
• Perform other landscape construction duties as assigned.
