Job summary

Huntleigh USA, based at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, is hiring an Exterior Aircraft Waxer to clean and wax aircraft exteriors to airline standards. This full-time night shift runs 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to work outdoors in varying weather, pass drug testing, and read, write, and follow English instructions. Training provided.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Exterior Aircraft Waxer is responsible for cleaning, waxing, and maintaining the exterior surfaces of aircraft to ensure they are clean, polished, and meet airline standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in outdoor environments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash and clean exterior surfaces of aircraft
• Apply wax and protective coatings to aircraft exteriors
• Ensure proper use of equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Inspect aircraft surfaces for dirt, debris, or damage
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing tasks

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift
• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10-20 pounds or more with or without accommodations
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
