Job summary

University of Wyoming Extension seeks an Extension Educator to serve Sheridan County, focusing on agriculture and natural resources. The educator will develop and deliver non-credit programs, collaborate with the Sheridan Research and Extension Center, and address local needs through outreach and education in horticulture and related topics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field relevant to the position with degree completed by hire date
• One degree (Master's or Bachelor's) must be in horticulture, arboriculture, plant science, soil science, agriculture science, rangeland management, agricultural economics, or related field
• Ability to travel overnight and work evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and education in horticulture and small acreage management to Sheridan County communities
• Collaborate with Sheridan Research and Extension Center on applied research and outreach
• Deliver non-credit education to off-campus clientele in ANR and support 4-H and youth development
