Qualifications

• Holds a West Virginia Professional Certificate endorsed for elementary education or special education at the grade levels appropriate for this assignment (grades K-5).
• Regular employment status at the assigned school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for critical skills instruction for students struggling with reading and/or mathematics to include:
• Utilization of a computer-based instructional component
• Teacher led small group instruction to enhance reading fluency and comprehension or address specific obstacles identified through diagnostic assessment
• Instruction on mathematics facts, skills or concepts to reinforce classroom learning
