Stjohnsschool is seeking a part-time Extended Day Program Counselor in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of children while helping them develop positive habits and skills. The position is non-exempt and follows the school's academic calendar, running from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Candidates must be at least 18 and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

The responsibilities of this part-time role include the focused supervision, safety, and activities of children in an assigned group while ensuring the well‑being of all children in the program. Supervision includes visual and auditory awareness as well as ensuring the students are respectful, behaving in a responsible and safe manner and are mirroring the St. John’s Code and the student handbook.
The Extended Day Program Counselor should be dependable, responsible, sensitive, mature, and able to relate to children as well as adults. This is a part‑time position, each school day from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. This is a non‑exempt, hourly, part‑time position that follows the School’s academic calendar.
