Job summary

Archspm is seeking staff to support a thriving Catholic School extended day program. You will join a dedicated team of teachers, administrators and parish staff focused on enriching activities for K–5 students.

Candidates should be ready to engage school-age children, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a mission-driven community that supports families and education through faith-based programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school age child development.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to lift 25–40 pounds if needed.
• Ability to supervise and plan activities for school age children.
• Ability to work within a teaching team and with various age groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and staff.
• Promote the mission of the parish, school and extended day program.
• Ability to maintain a classroom environment and implement classroom management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school age child development, and knowledge/experience planning and implementing activities for school age children (grades K-5).
• Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to lift 25-40 pounds if needed.
• An ability to effectively supervise and plan experiences for school age children.
• Ability to work within a teaching team and ability to work with various age groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and other staff members.
• Ability to work as a team player with the Saint Ambrose Catholic School and Parish staff and administration to promote the mission of the parish, school and extended day program.
• Ability to effectively maintain a classroom environment and implement classroom management techniques.
