Qualifications

• Entry-level qualifications; diagnostic, electrical and engine repair preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong physical dexterity for tool handling.
• Team orientation and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following standards.
• Drain oil and replace with required amount; replace filters.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and maintain dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of needed services.
• Provide an estimate of time for additional repairs.
