Job summary

Courtesy Chevrolet, part of Courtesy Automotive Group, is seeking an Express Technician to join our service team in Phoenix.

You will perform essential quick-service maintenance with a focus on efficiency and quality, using your own tools. A dealership background and familiarity with the service drive are preferred. This role is full-time and Monday-Saturday with an hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Must have your own set of tools.
• CDK, XTime and GM experience preferred.
• Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
• Strong understanding of the service drive.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Positive, friendly attitude and customer service mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Check oil level and communicate with teammates.
• Verify and adjust tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify issues.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter during changes.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Position Overview

Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an Express Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality vehicle maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at an automotive dealership, a strong understanding of the service drive, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as well as other responsibilities as needed. Candidates must have their own tools. This position will be 5 days per week on a Monday-Saturday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and Communicate Oil Level: Inspect and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Ensure Tire Pressure: Verify and adjust tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and Refill Fluid Levels: Conduct refills as necessary.
• Complete Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues.
• Oil Drain Plug and Filter Installation: Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter during oil change procedures.
• Clean and Lubricate Fittings: Clean and lubricate fittings as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing our customer's perspective.

• Basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
