Job summary

Sir Walter Chevrolet in Raleigh is hiring Express Technicians/Lube Technicians to join a long-established dealership. We offer training, mentorship, and a clear career path from Express Technician to GM Certified Technician, with GM factory training and certification programs.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, inspect and document findings, check fluids, and support light mechanical repairs. Competitive hourly pay with bonuses, a $300 monthly vehicle allowance, and comprehensive

• Experience in automotive service is preferred but training is provided.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery testing, and other routine maintenance services
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with service advisors and experienced technicians to deliver exceptional customer service
• Assist with light mechanical repairs while developing your technical skills

What We're Looking For

• Automotive experience is preferred, but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
