Job summary

Mahalak Auto Group in Davenport, FL is seeking an Automotive Express Technician to start your automotive career with hands-on training and competitive pay.

You will perform basic maintenance, inspections, and use diagnostic tools while working in a family-owned dealership established in 1966, offering medical/dental, retirement plan, paid vacations, and education programs.

Qualifications

• A passion for cars and a desire to grow in the automotive industry.
• Basic understanding of car maintenance (no experience? we’ll train you!).

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations, and brake shoe replacements.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections, checking fluids, brakes, tires, belts, and more.
• Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools to ensure every vehicle leaves in top condition.
• Keep the shop clean and organized while maintaining dealership tools and equipment.
