Job summary

Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission is seeking a Lube Technician to perform express lube duties on vehicles at our Merriam, Kansas location. The role involves oil and filter changes, lubrication of joints, and ensuring vehicle fluids are topped off and the car is cleaned before release.

Prerequisites include basic automotive knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. Regular shifts with possible evenings and weekends are required in our service department.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to express lube guidelines.
• Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints.
• Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.
• Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
• Checks fluid levels and refills as needed.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Records all hours worked accurately in timekeeping system.
